While it is often hard to absolutely define relaxation, at it's core it is a state of physical, mental and emotional security, absent of stress and tension. Stress causes the immune system to weaken, leaving us prone to ill health, fear, distrust and anxiety. When we are relaxed and stress-free, we are able to restore our natural ability to heal from these negative reactions. Reiki will help you release your stresses!

Reiki brings about a sense of calm, helping us to deal compassionately and effectively with stress. When you feel Reiki’s positive life force energy flowing through you, peace is realized. Peace enables you to feel secure and release your fears. Fear exacerbates the doubts we have, and doubt increases our anxiety. To de-stress yourself, place your hands on your belly just above your navel. Intend the all-loving positive life energy to flow into your Solar Plexus to regain your strength, trust and ease in life.

If you are experiencing symptoms of a cold, check in with yourself and make sure that you are not doing too much or moving too fast through your life. Try slowing down, or place your hands over your heart to feel the calming effects of Reiki. Your Root Chakra governs your immune system. To strengthen your immune system, share Reiki with your Root Chakras by placing your hands on your legs or at the base of your torso and intend the flow of loving energy.
