Amie Chaudoir...Reiki Healer!

Reiki has been my way of life for the last 9 years since I lived in Thailand and completed my master-teacher training with Usui Reiki Master, Colin Kirsch. Reiki was first introduced to me as I lay unconscious on the side of a road after a near-fatal car accident in 1992. Two nurses shared Reiki with me until the ambulance arrived. (full story in Articles). It was a few years after my physical recovery before the practice of Reiki came into my life consciously and I became a healing practitioner.

I began my Reiki journey with Reiki I taught by an Usui Shiki Ryoho Master-Teacher, Lisa Davenport in Vermont. Reiki quickly became a nurturing healing tool for me to discover and release spiritual, emotional and mental trauma associated with the accident in 1992.

Two years later, I became a Reiki II Practitioner under the study of Usui Shiki Ryoho Master-Teacher, Helen Sonobe in Hawaii.

Following that, I traveled extensively in Africa where Reiki helped me heal from Malaria. It was then it became undeniable that whenever positive life force energy was flowing through me, the world around me became brighter. When I began sharing Reiki daily, smiles began surrounding me as peace was realized in myself and all surrounding me. It’s very simple, yet often we forget that positive energy, creates positive thoughts, manifesting a more positive world.

Everyone and everything can heal with Reiki!

In 2007, I became a certified Reiki Master-Teacher with the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP), abiding by their code of Ethics in all treatments and workshops at my home healing studio in Eugene, Oregon.
